Egham Library reading group

Egham Library reading group meets approximately every 6 weeks on a Tuesday evening from 5.30pm - 6.30pm. All adults welcome. Our next reading group meetings are:

  • 12 May
  • 24 June
  • 4 August
  • 15 September
  • 3 November
  • 15 December

Chatterbooks reading groups

We run two Chatterbooks reading groups for children in different age groups. They provide activities for children to develop their reading, give them the chance to talk about books and to build confidence in expressing their opinions. Our next meetings for each of the two groups are on the following Tuesdays from 4.30pm - 5.30pm:

For children aged from 9 - 11 years (years 5 and 6):

  • 24 February
  • 17 March
  • 14 April

No need to book. New members welcome.

For children aged from 11 - 14 years (years 7, 8 and 9):

  • 3 February
  • 3 March
  • 31 March

No need to book. New members welcome.


Come and join us for stories, rhymes and songs for babies and children under 5:

  • Every Thursday, 10.30am - 11am
  • Every Saturday, 11am- 11.30am

For 4 - 7 year olds

Come and join us for stories for 4 - 7 year olds every Thursday at 4pm.
