Due to ongoing window replacement work at Guildford Library, the libary will be closed on Thursday 6th November and Friday 7th November. It is hoped that the library's normal hours will resume from Saturday 8th November.

All of our libraries are closed on bank holidays.
From Monday 1 September until the end of November there will be building works taking place at Guildford library. During this time the library is endeavouring to stay open. The second phase of the window replacement is to start in early November and other areas of the library are being decorated so please be aware that:
- Certain areas will be disrupted and closed at various times
- All Guildford public PCs will be non-bookable during this time
- There will be no Rhymetime or Mylearning sessions during this time

Parking and accessibility
There are several nearby pay and display multi-storey car parks in the town centre and some pay and display short stay on-street parking further down North Street. There are two disabled spaces outside the front of the library
The library is on four floors with the ground floor on three levels linked by ramps and there is a wheelchair accessible lift between floors.
The library also has a rollator/walker for use in the library and staff are happy to obtain stock where access is difficult.
The library has a automatic doors and a hearing loop is installed. It has assistive technology for people with disabilities.Please see: Library services for people with disabilities, for further information.
