Events and activities at Guildford Library

From Monday 1 September until the end of November there will be building works taking place at Guildford Library. During this time the library is endeavouring to stay open. The second phase of the window replacement is to start in early November and other areas of the library are being decorated so please be aware that:

  • Certain areas will be disrupted and closed at various times
  • All Guildford public PCs will be non-bookable during this time
  • There will be no more Rhymetime or Mylearning sessions during this time

The Library Manager apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Magna Carta - Law and Legacy

Discover why the Magna Carta was created in this fascinating display which includes a Magna Carta facsimile (on loan from Lincoln Cathedral). Find out about the history and the myths that surround this important document, and how it has influenced our laws past and present.

All Rhymetimes and Blokes and Babies will be suspended from the 26 August due to the current building work.

Join us for baby bounce and rhymes, every Tuesday, 11am - 11.30am. Places are limited so come early to avoid disappointment.

Blokes and Babies and Big Family Rhymetimes

We will be running regular monthly Bounce and Rhyme sessions for babies and the man in their lives on the following Saturdays at 11am:
